Masca, Tenerife. A small village tucked into a gorge at an altitude of about 600 meters. Between two stone walls, the view suddenly opens toward the ocean; on a clear day, the neighboring island appears as if it were floating in the air — almost like in my favorite fairy tale, Jack and the Beanstalk.
In this work, I do not depict the island itself: instead, I wanted to capture what makes Masca feel fantastical at sunset — the light that reflects off one side of the gorge and wraps the other, leaving a soft pink haze hanging in the air. Atmosphere matters more than description; I am recording not the view, but the sensation of the place

Ushbu asarda men o‘zim orolni tasvirlamayman: Maskani quyosh botishida sehrli qiladigan narsani yetkazmoqchi edim - bir devordan aks etgan yorug‘lik ikkinchi devorni o‘rab oladi va havoda pushti tutun qoldiradi. Atmosfera tavsifdan muhimroq: men ko‘rinishni emas, joyning hissini qayd qilaman

Меж двух каменных стен вдруг открывается вид на океан; в ясную погоду соседний остров проступает так, будто висит в воздухе — почти как в моей любимой сказке «Джек и бобовый стебель». В этой работе я не изображаю сам остров: хотелось передать то, что делает Маску фантастической на закате — свет, который отражается от одной стены ущелья и окутывает другую, оставляя в воздухе розовую дымку. Атмосфера важнее описания: я фиксирую не вид, а ощущение места.
